The World of Blogging

It’s a strange place I find myself here, this world of blogging. I’ve never considered myself the type of person to lay my feelings out there in the world wide web for all to see, but maybe there is an egotistical side of me I never knew existed. All I know is that ever since I started my very first MySpace page about 3 years ago, I’ve been blogging ever since. Can’t help it! Is anyone out there interested in what I have to say? Maybe not. Do I have anything interesting for said people to read about? Maybe. Am I doing this because I have something to say regardless? Absolutely. Andy Warhol once said that everyone will have their 15 minutes of fame one day. And now with blogging, youtube, MySpace, Facebook etc.. everyone can. Some even longer than 15 minutes. So let’s see how I go shall we? All I want to do is talk about my need to help my fellow Australians unlock their creative self. Help them understand that everyone can do art and that it is just as important to the world than those hanging on gallery walls with a priceless ticket on them.
